38 organizations launch the Coalition

On Saturday, March 21, 2015 the Turner Field Community Benefits Coalition celebrated its official launch, with 38 organizations signing on. The ceremony was held at D.H. Stanton Elementary School in the Peoplestown neighborhood, and was attended by over 150 people. Attendees heard from member organizations and community members, and signed up for volunteer opportunities with the Coalition.

The organizations represented included neighborhood associations, community based organizations, and advocacy groups all concerned with representing impacted residents to ensure a high-quality development for the Turner Field Stadium area.
